How do I whitelist certain IP addresses from the WebOrion™ Protector?

In some cases where you (or your editors) are being blocked by the WebOrion™ Protector WAF, you may wish to whitelist your IP addresses so that you will not encounter disruptions to your operations.

Step 1: Open WAF control panel

Visit the WebOrion™ Protector WAF configuration page in the WebOrion™ cloud portal. Go to “IP Filters“.

Step 2: Add whitelisted IP addresses

A form will appear where you can configure certain IP addresses to always be whitelisted or blacklisted, regardless. You should add your IP addresses here, as well as any other addresses that you wish to add, separated by commas.

To find out your IP address, you may use whatismyip.com. Note that if you are using home Internet, it is most likely that your IP address may change over time, or that your IP address is shared with other Internet users living near you as well.
